Maybe I'm to optimistic and maybe someone might say I have my head in the sand, but as much as media/social media try to ignore it or downplay it, I can't help but see all the good things happening in our world. 

And maybe if we all started looking for the good more than the bad, there just might be more good than bad one day.

I AM grateful

 This is probably one of the silliest pictures I've posted to date, but one of my favorites.  It makes me feel happy when I look at it.  I am happy. I haven't been for a long time now. I told myself I was, told myself I should be. I kept trying to convince myself that where I was.. well, it was where I was supposed to be. I think I got so caught up in being "happy" with the destination in which I found myself, that I forgot that life isn't about destinations.  Life isn't about FINDING happiness like it's something elusive that is limited to only certain people and places. Life is about gratitude and seeing the beauty in every step of the journey.
